Red Hot Trends For 2008

Redheads, Red dresses and Red lipstick! Dare you try them?

Red is this years hottest color and absolutely beautiful when you know how to wear it. Of course, Makeup needs to compliment all that Red.....so here's 5 tips to help you.
(Model has the total look!)

I did this look for a 'Fashion Forward 2008' Photography Shoot with Stephanie Moore Photography. www.stephaniemooreonline.com/
Tip 1: The Secret lies in the rest of your face. The paler the skin, the bigger the pop. Go light on the eyes with shadows otherwise you’ll risk looking like a clown.
Black/ Brown Eyeliner smudged closely to the lash line, then 3 coats of mascara to lashes. Make sure to apply mascara lavishly to bottom lashes to open up the eyes.

Tip 2: Line lips with a reddish colored lip liner or dark natural, this assures lipstick won't bleed, then fill in lips with lip liner. (so it lasts throughout the evening or event)

Tip 3: Pick the right color. If your complexion is pink, you'll look better in plum shades, while girls with yellow tones are flattered by warmer reds that have a brown base. Our model is wearing a rust shade 'blend' (see tip 4) topped with clear gloss and lip plumper.

Tip 4: Blend more than one shade of lipstick to create the perfect color. If you bought a red lipstick that's too bright or dark experiment with other lipstick shades you have on hand to create the perfect shade of red.

Tip 5: Blush stays soft and matte...most Makeup looks for 2008 include a lightly powdered face without shimmery highlights.

Well, your all set! Now, slip into a pretty RED dress, the right shoes and accessories; trust me heads will turn .....because that's what Redhead's do!

Have Beautiful Healthy Skin The Natural Way

Anti-aging makeup ‘tricks ‘ help us look years younger and with Olive Oil’s Skin Care Secrets ….. ageless!
As a seasoned Makeup Artist I focus special attention on the eye and lip area since these age faster than other areas of the face. Larger lips and an open eye look give you a youthful appearance and are achieved with artistry tricks.
Makeup techniques take years off your appearance and these tips can be easily taught so you can duplicate the look whenever you desire.
A primary step for good skin care each week is exfoliation, this will help your skin look younger immediately and absolutely radiant after makeup application.
Like the famous Italian actress Sophia Loren, I use Olive Oil for skin care. Sophia Loren is over 70 and is considered one of the most beautiful woman in the world without Plastic surgery. Olive Oil is an ancient Roman beauty secret and one I’ve suggested to my clients for many years. Try a dab of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil ( first cold pressed ) several times a week on your face and use it’s as a total body moisturizer.
Olive Oil, or ‘Liquid Gold’ has been used throughout the Mediterranean for thousands of years as both a health and beauty aid. This precious oil has been treasured as a beauty aid because it protects, tones and moisturizes the skin. Olive oil is loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that are easily absorbed and water soluble so it won’t clog pores. Premium Olive Oil actually ‘feeds’ your skin to make it firmer, truly ‘anti-aging.’
Scientifically it’s proven Olive Oil is a natural anti-inflammatory agent for total body health. As we age the inflammatory response is higher making Olive Oil benefits of greater value…. ‘Good health to you!’
If you or a loved one suffer from an Auto-Immune Disease like ‘Rheumatoid Arthritis,’ read the benefits of Olive Oil and the Mediterranean diet @ http://www.rheumatoidarthritissupport.blogspot.com/
Directions as a moisturizer for the face: Warm a tiny amount in your hands, pat in gently and not too close to eyes,( makes them cloudy) allow to absorb for 10-20 min., then pat off excess with a soft cloth and proceed with your usual beauty routine.
It’s natural, healthy and gives you a youthful glow! As the saying goes, …. ”You will love the skin your in!”
