Olive Oil for Beauty and Longevity

We want to look great as we age and the fact is we're going to have some wrinkles if we enjoy life.... we laugh, we cry, we frown .... that's just the way life is.
But there's a way to keep our skin younger longer and we benefit health wise too.
The exceptional life-expectancy of people from the Mediterranean area where olive oil is used for everything from cooking to moisturizer has captured the attention of the world's scientific community.
Jeanne Calment, who holds the record for the longest confirmed lifespan, reportedly attributed her longevity and relatively youthful appearance to olive oil, which she said she poured on all her food and rubbed into her skin.
Olive oil, in all its greenish, golden, antioxidant-rich glory, 'Liquid Gold' as it's called could very well be the proverbial Fountain of Youth. Olive Oil keeps skin elastic and youthful as well as your hair shiny and strong.
Make sure you use quality Olive Oils, 'Extra Virgin Olive Oil' and always, 'First Cold Press' for nutritional values. Preferably buy name brands and some excellant ones come from Italy and Spain; at this time only certain Olive Oils are pure organic oil so check labels carefully and buy ones you can trust.
MOISTURIZER FOR FACE:
For face, pour a small amount into your hands and warm then dab onto face, not too close to eyes since it will cloud them. Allow to absorb 10 - 20 minutes.... then buff off excess with a soft cotton cloth.... apply your foundation or just go as you are in all your natural beauty.
MOISTURIZER FOR BODY:
After showering or bathing rub a small amount of olive oil over the entire body....it will absorb... lightly buff off excess after 10 minutes. (At night rub into feet and wear white cotton socks to bed.....over night your feet will be soft and pretty.

This is a good tip. It is easy to overlook the benefits of common materials like olive oil.

Yes, and it's interesting the renewed awareness of this fact in the past few years. Many want to use natural and organic things for their skin and all around health.
I love it! Finally.
